bloody mary

i hate my monthly period..its gross...its itchy..smells like a fucking dead rat and i cant wear a thong!!! i dont like tampoons either its like walking with a stick between your legs ewww (ouch rather). so guys tell me..is it ok to get a depo shot and not have it for at least 3 months?? some women who has had it tells me that it helps you lose weight and makes the skin glow..true??? whadayathink?? i need your opinions..however blunt they maybe :)
